ROUND HILL YOUNG ADULT MINISTRY (YAM)

Our Young Adult Ministry (or YAM for short) meets on Tuesday and Thursday Nights from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. We also have a Young Adult Sunday School that meets on Sunday off-site.

OPEN REC

Every Tuesday we join other Young Adults from our District for Open Rec. at Braddock Street UMC downtown. We play basketball and other team sports as well. As the weather turns, we will be visiting other outdoor venues for Open Rec. opportunities such as tennis, volleyball, etc…

YOUNG ADULT MINISTRY SCHEDULE

Thursday Nights the Round Hill YAM FAM (Family) meets at the church at 7:00 p.m. and we sometimes venture out on some excursions.

Our typical schedule is as follows:

1st Thursday – CrossLink: A cross-denominational gathering of Christian young adults for worship at Market Street UMC.

2nd Thursday – Diner’s Club: We have fellowship around the table at a local restaurant. (None in April – Maundy Thursday)

3rd Thursday – YAMming: You must be in attendance to understand this one, but it is a great thing we do!

4th Thursday – Game Night: We simply have fun playing a large group game for some fun and friendly competition.

5th Thursday –- Movie Night: On the occasion we have a 5th Thursday, we have movie night, complete with popcorn and comfy couches.

SUNDAY SCHOOL

Our Young Adult Sunday School is facilitated by Jordan Markwood and John McGraw. They meet at the Daily Grind in Abram’s Crossing on Jubal Early Drive. You can catch a ride from the church after the early service if you’d like or simply meet up there from 9:45 – 10:45am.
